1. What made you decide to have wls surgery?
My kids and wanted to be around for them as i was on the verge of having lots of medical issues.
2. What was your weight prior to your WLS, and... What’s the goal?
At my heaviest i was 165kg and my goal was to be around 100kg and i am now 90kg.
3. Did you get to the weight you wanted?
Yes and under
4. How do you feel now that you have had the surgery?
I feel alot more energetic not as tired
5. Were there any problems along the way?
Yes i ended up having gallbladder removed
6. Would you do it again now that you know what you know?
Yes definitely
7. What are some of the inspiring things you can think of that you have noticed along the way?
The shock of my friends and family seeing how much i have changed.
8. Did you have some happy unexpected surprises?
My clothing size going down.
9. What advice do you have for anyone preparing for surgery?
To be in the right mind set as its not as easy as people say an is hard work still.
10. What is the one very best thing that has resulted from your surgery? What has been the hardest part of your journey?
Hardest is learning to eat and drink again and the best thing is able to do things with my kids without struggling.
