Skinny Greek Omelette

5 minutes, easy prep, 5 ingredients 


  • 1 whole egg
  • 20g pure egg white protein powder
  • 1 tbsp red onion
  • 1/4 cup tomato

optional: basil to garnish, salt and pepper to taste 


  1. Re-constitute pure egg white protein powder with 3 tablespoons water, use a fork, or electric beater until an egg white consistency is reached
  2. mix in the whole egg and set aside
  3. in a warm non-stick pan, greased with olive oil spray, cook onion until turning clear
  4. add the tomatoes and cook until tender - keeping these ingredients to one side of the pan
  5. pour in the egg and wait till it starts to become firm and bubbles form on the top
  6. add the cheese
  7. fold in half and wait for the cheese to melt
  8. flip if desired
  9. garnish with basil leaves and salt and pepper to taste
