Introducing BN Iron
One of the major challenges after WLS is managing to keep iron levels at optimal levels.
Iron relies heavily on Stomach acid for absorption and this is permanently effected by the surgery.
So a focus needs to be placed on incorporating iron rich foods, daily supplementation and boosted supplementation when levels are low in your regular blood tests.
Your 2 x daily BN multi is geared to maintain iron levels when taken as directed
However if your levels do fall low, you will need a boost of iron alongside for a period of time to replenish your ferritin /stores.
Â
Our handy Anaemia flyer has a guide to dosage when levels are low
And your dietitian should be consulted to set your daily dosage to get your feeling better as soon as possible.

Ferritin is the indicator of iron stores, and when its low, results in impacts on
